Luuk Hilhorst

Luuk Hilhorst, the founder of LHT Consultancy, was the Production Manager at various confectionary producing companies, working with starch moulding lines like NID.

In his previous jobs, he experienced all the ins and outs of the starch moulding technology and handled all possible relevant issues with starch moulding, like starch moisture, drying and cooling situations, viscosities, cooking, moulding models and shapes, etc.

He went on to work as an International Account Manager for a company producing continuous aerators in the Netherlands and traveled around the world to visit customers and suppliers.

During this period he also handled the agency of NID for the Benelux and extended his knowledge of starch moulding and it’s very specific ins and outs. Luuk also visited customers who were interested in continuous aeration for cake, fresh dairy cream, marshmallow, production of fat cream to feed MB&D cookie cappers and hundreds of more applications for the continuous aerator technology.
